Northwest region
 
The northwest region is still No.1 of the total installed capacity of photovoltaics in the country. As of the third quarter, the province with the highest PV installed capacity in the region was Xinjiang, with 9.35 million kilowatts. The installed capacity of photovoltaics in Tibet, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Gansu and Qinghai was 790,000 kilowatts, 5.03 million kilowatts, 6.13 million kilowatts and 7.78 million kilowatts respectively. 7.85 million kilowatts.

Beijing has the lowest installed capacity of 240,000 kilowatts, which is consistent with the first and second quarters. The installed capacity of PV in Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi and Tianjin is 7.49 million kilowatts, 7.24 million kilowatts, 4.91 million kilowatts and 660,000 kilowatts respectively.
